hi just thought i would post my thoughts and suggestions for the new song book.
songs i would like kept in the book are streets of london, maggie may,jolene,hotel california,time of your life,show me the way to go home,tell me ma,whiskey in the jar,black velvet band? house of the rising sun? .think we should have urban spaceman (for the fun factor with the kazoo) and 2 beatles songs,eight days a week and maybe octopus' garden ,a good sing a long song.also might keep dedicated follower of fashion, and also sunny afternoon, kinks are the public eye with the musical about the life just starting. finally another good sing a long ,the bare necessities, i have found a version without that spoken verse in it.it also has a kazoo verse in it. also not forgetting delilah.maybe too many songs but could select any number for when we get gigs!see you on monday.
