Hello HUG, I am a member of Stockport Ukulele Players, SUP. I am hoping to organise a camping visit to your area and it would be great to meet up with you one evening for a joint strum. Our club's been going for just over 2 years now and we regularly have about 55 at our weekly meetings. In fact so many that we have to use 2 rooms in our local pub now. We meet every two weeks. the next meeting is on 26th May. We generally sit around and play suggestions. We are practising a set list for a gig or two this summer so the meetings are 8pm - 9pm play set list through quickly and without hesitation, repetition or deviation. Then from 9pm until 10pm we have a random suggestion set.

You are more then welcome. I think there is an unwritten rule that if you are a player you are always welcome anywhere in the world.

I never view it as "my glass is half full" or "my glass is half empty" only as "Who spilt my pint?"
